New York City (August 3, 2004)–Industry veterans Mitch Raboy, James Twomey and Mike Levesque Sr. have formed a new audio post production/sound design company called Mixopolis. The new audio post boutique, located at 5 East 47th Street, features three rooms equipped with Digidesign Pro Tools and Fairlight digital audio workstations.
Housed in the top floor of a midtown building, the space boasts large skylights with beautiful midtown views. “The location which is right between Madison and Fifth Avenues, is one half block from North entrance to Grand Central,” said Levesque. “We have succeeded in creating a downtown space in the heart of midtown. We’re developing a rooftop garden that clients will really enjoy. For TV and radio mixing, ISDN recording to full-up radio production including casting, custom sound design, original music, and digital spot trafficking, Mixopolis is ready to make some noise,”
“With extensive music and sfx libraries in house, we have all the tools to provide anything a client could want,” added Raboy.
Also with Mixopolis is Lydia Perez, who comes on board as studio manager/director of operations. Formerly of Superdupe and Parallax Audio, Perez brings a wealth of client services experience to the company. Rounding out the company as staffers are Luke Gilbert and Luke Vandewark.
