New York (July 23, 2007)–Audio-Technica has expanded its support of the NSCA Education Foundation, contributing an additional $10,000 and maintaining its place in the Founder’s Club giving level. Gifts to the Foundation are put toward the development of educational programs and financial assistance for professionals working in the commercial electronic systems industry. Audio-Technica’s contribution will be put toward the Foundation’s 2007-2008 budget. Initiatives for the next fiscal year include programs to reach out to students, finance student scholarships and memberships, develop curriculum and fund education for industry professionals.
“We are very pleased to support the NSCA Education Foundation again this year,” said Greg Pinto, vice president of marketing for Audio-Technica. “This worthy organization plays a critical role in promoting career development for commercial electronic systems professionals.”
Tom Frericks, president of the NSCA Education Foundation, said Audio-Technica played a pivotal role in the Foundation’s initiatives. “Audio-Technica is one of the top 12 contributors to the NSCA Education Foundation,” Frericks said. “Their financial support and leadership are essential to the Foundation’s efforts to develop systems integrators and advance the industry. We look forward to continuing the relationship for many years to come.”
In addition to its support of the Education Foundation, Audio-Technica has also been a major proponent of industry education through NSCA. Most recently, the company served as an NSCA University Partner in Education by donating microphones for use during Expo. The donation allowed NSCA University to focus its efforts on providing quality industry education.
