Attendance was reportedly over 100 local audio professionals–a number that exceeded expectations.
The event, organized and sponsored by TransAudio Group of Las Vegas, was the first of a planned half-dozen shows to crisscross the U.S. Noted Brad Lunde, president of TransAudio Group, “I’ve wanted to start the Audio Underground Roadshow for years. After listening to questions from end-users, I knew there was an audience that would respond to a local show where asking questions to some of the most innovative and successful people in pro audio, and picking up insider information, would be virtually irresistible. The response to out first event was overwhelming. To me, this is an indication of where the market is headed and how to effectively reach it. Due to the lack of local dealers, it’s our job to take the gear to the market rather than let the market find us.”
