Chatsworth, CA (October 12, 2007)--Online computer audio hard- and software retailer audioMIDI.com will provide the local Los Angeles market with a look at Apple's new Logic Studio coupled with Apogee's new Duet interface on October 27th from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Apple's Andrew Finley and Apogee's David Casey will demonstrate the new software and interface combination at audioMIDI.com's corporate office, located at 9240 Deering Avenue, Chatsworth, CA 91311.

The presentation will allow audio professionals and musicians to examine the new interface of Logic Pro 8 (within Logic Studio) and its included virtual instrument plug-ins. Logic Studio includes Logic Pro 8, Apple's professional music application; MainStage, a new application for music performance, and Soundtrack Pro 2 for audio post-production. It also includes Studio Instruments, Studio Effects, and an expanded Studio Sound Library.

Duet, which recently debuted at the 123rd Audio Engineering Society Convention, is a portable FireWire bus-powered audio interface. Deut features control functions built directly into Apple's Logic Pro, Soundtrack Pro and GarageBand software.

Parking and admission are free; food and refreshments will be served. Interested parties can RSVP for this event at the company’s website.
