New York (October 5, 2006)–Jands Production Services has ordered a Midas XL8 live performance system, becoming the first Australian company to purchase one, having bought a complete system from local distributor APAC Audio. Jands was previously the first Australian SR provider to purchase an XL4 console as well.

As per Midas’ criteria that training and support of the platform is a critical part of its ownership, Jands personnel will attend training at the manufacturer’s UK factory in the set up, operation, servicing and support of the platform to ensure that there are qualified engineers at hand to provide seamless and reliable operation.
“The pedigree that Midas has established as a ‘first choice’ and rider-friendly console helped to make this a logical choice for Jands,” said APAC’s managing director Colin Formston. “The release of the XL8 incorporating the ‘classic’ Midas sound brings a new level of sonic performance to the world of digital consoles.”
