Niles, IL (May 4, 2010)–Shure has joined the AVnu Alliance, a trade group promoting for A/V adoption of the IEEE 802.1 AVB (Audio Video Bridging) and related IEEE 1722 and 1733 standards.

As a Promoter member of the AVnu Alliance, Shure will be actively involved in marketing and technical working groups to help define, implement, and encourage adoption of the AVB standard across various industry sectors.
