Quincy, IL (April 19, 2005)--Broadcast Electronics (BE) has launched a new software version of its AudioVAULT digital audio system that includes a text data interface and dozens of new failsafe features. Version 9.0 improves upon BE advancements in TCP/IP and network delivery with a total of 37 enhancements, including dual network support and server failover.

Dual network support is one of several version 9.0 failsafe features that allows AudioVAULT to continually communicate over two separate networks as a redundancy measure should one network go down. The new version makes it possible for one server to fail-over to the other seamlessly, without interruption to on-air delivery of programming.
