Berean Baptist Benefits From New System

Houston, TX, (March 2, 2005)--Berean Baptist Church, located in Houston, was in 1976, and until recently, was still using the original audio system installed during the church's construction. However, due to the age and performance of the audio system, many members of the congregation were having a difficult time hearing the music and ministers in the sanctuary. Church officials turned to Randy Golden, veteran audio engineer and owner of local audio company Golden Ear Audio, for advice on revamping the system. He, in turn, went with SLS Loudspeakers.

Golden installed multiple RLA/3s in the 450-seat sanctuary. "I chose the SLS speakers particularly because this is a small yet wide room," said Golden who has also completed a number of installations throughout the Houston and San Antonio areas. "I knew a high frequency system with a ribbon tweeter would give much more consistent coverage side to side. The RLA/3s provides the coverage that I wanted and at a low volume."
