Heilbronn, Germany (July 20, 2006)–In a move to increase the company’s presence in the international market, beyerdynamic is expanding its in-house representatives for Europe, Asia, Middle East, and other areas across the globe. As part of the plan’s first phase, Michael Kinzel will join beyerdynamic’s Global Markets team as marketing and sales manager, Asia/Pacific.
Michael Kinzel “With extensive sales experience in this region, Michael is a first-class addition to our team,” said Wolfgang Luckhardt, CEO of beyerdynamic. “He will aid beyerdynamic in getting a foothold in the rapidly-growing Asian Market.”
Kinzel comes to beyerdynamic from Kling & Freitag, a Hanover-based manufacturer of high-quality loudspeakers where he was CEO and director of international sales. Kinzel’s new responsibilities include working with existing market partners in the Asia-Pacific region to further strengthen business ties, as well as developing new business relationships within the industry. He will also assist in creating promotional strategies and implementing the business plans for all divisions: Conference & Presentation, Music & Performance, Broadcast, Studio, Video & Production, Consumer Products and Aviation.
In response to the rapid growth of the conference market in the Middle East, Ulrich Giehrl, beyerdynamic’s international sales manager for the Conference & Presentation division, will spearhead business development in the region. beyerdynamic also plans to add a marketing and sales manager for Eastern Europe, which will have similar responsibilities to those of Kinzel. These additions come after the success of a pilot project in South America where representative, Alexandre Algranti, was able to expand the company’s hold in South American market.
