Burbank, CA (February 26, 2007)–Bill Angarola has been named vice president, Post Production Services, Warner Bros. Studio Facilities. Norman Barnett, senior vice president, Production Services, Warner Bros. Studio Facilities and Kim Waugh, senior vice president, Post Production Services, Warner Bros. Studio Facilities, announced the appointment.
Angarola joins the Studio’s Post Production Services senior management team, with primary oversight of its television operations. Angarola will also be charged with managing sound talent as well as growing the television editorial business.
“Bill has a solid resume with many years of experience in television sound editorial, and his experience and leadership will grow our business,” said Barnett. “He’s a well-respected executive, and it is a real coup to have him join our post production sound team.”

A member of the post production sound industry for over 25 years, Angarola joins WBSF from Ascent Media Group, where he served as senior vice president, television, a post he held since the Ascent Media/Todd-AO merger in 2000. Prior to that, Angarola was a supervising sound editor/director of editorial at Todd-AO West, eventually segueing to a sales and management role. He joined the company following two years of owning and operating an independent sound editorial company based at Todd-AO West. Before that, Angarola worked at Skywalker Sound and Modern Sound, where he served as a Supervising Sound Editor, working for five years on the MacGyver TV series.
Angarola has won an Emmy Award for his work on Northern Exposure and the movie-of-the-week Unnatural Causes as well as eight Golden Reel Awards for best sound editing for television.
