New York, NY (December 18, 2003)--Karen Brinton purchased the legendary mobile recording facility, Remote Recording, from former owner and founder, David Hewitt, this past July. Hewitt will remain as a partner with Remote Recording.

Formerly associated with KRK Systems, as director of marketing and promotion, Brinton has been involved with the audio business for six years, and decided to invest in Remote Recording in early 2003. "I've always admired Remote Recording for its history, its technical brilliance and its sterling reputation," Brinton commented. "I plan to continue to build upon the legacy David Hewitt has created at Remote Recording. David and I have quite a few ideas about new opportunities and we're equally optimistic about the future of our business."

Hewitt, respected for his over 30 years of recording, retains his role with the company as a vital and active producer/engineer. Hewitt will continue to oversee the technical side of the business without interruption. "Karen brings a fresh spark to Remote Recording and I believe her marketing savvy will drive the business to new heights," added Hewitt.

Brinton reflects, "Needless to say, we are retaining the same world class service and quality that Remote Recording is known for, yet we are expanding to offer more services (fly packs, post production, package pricing) along with strategic partnerships with top quality studios around the country."
