Calexico The Natural History Cut Tracks at Brooklyn Recording

Brooklyn, NY (August 24, 2004)--Brooklyn Recording, located in the Cobble Hill section of Brooklyn, recently hosted Tucson band Calexico, who was in cutting a backing track, "Burning Down the Spark" for a Nancy Sinatra record with producer JD Foster and engineer/studio owner Andy Taub. Also, Brooklyn band The Natural History were in the studio, recording an album with producer/engineer Joe Chicarelli.

Brooklyn, NY (August 24, 2004)--Brooklyn Recording, located in the Cobble Hill section of Brooklyn, recently hosted Tucson band Calexico, who was in cutting a backing track, "Burning Down the Spark" for a Nancy Sinatra record with producer JD Foster and engineer/studio owner Andy Taub. Also, Brooklyn band The Natural History were in the studio, recording an album with producer/engineer Joe Chicarelli.

Chicarelli also came to Brooklyn Recording to mix the new album by Clem Snide. Rufus Wainwright dropped by the studio to put some touches on his next album, which features his family, Kate and Ann McGarrigle, and sister Martha Wainwright. And, jazz guitarist Ben Monder has been recording his album at Brooklyn Recording with engineer Aya Takemura.
