St. Albans, UK (May 22, 2007)–The 23rd Reproduced Sound Conference and Exhibition, entitled “Hall of Sound: Audio for Live Events,” will be held at The Sage, Gateshead, on November 29-30, 2007. Organized by the Electroacoustics Group of the Institute of Acoustics in collaboration with ABTT, APRS & ISCE, the event is putting out a call for papers on topics related to sound reinforcement, room acoustics, recording (audio and video), broadcast, loudspeakers & microphones, intelligibility and innovations.
The Reproduced Sound conference will be hosted at one of the UK’s newest and largest venues for staging concerts and other live events, and will have an auditorium to use for the presentations and demonstrations.
According to organizers, any paper on the above or other electroacoustics topics will be considered. Those interested should send an abstract of 200 words to the Institute of Acoustics at firstname.lastname@example.org by June 15, 2007. Notification of accepted papers will be mailed by 25 June 2007. Final written papers for the proceedings must be received by October 26, 2007.
