Edinburgh, Scotland (July 1, 2005)–Camel Audio’s PhatSpace is a bundle of two new multi-effects: the Camel Space, a rhythmic multi-effect featuring a 128 step ‘trance-gate’ sequencer, and CamelPhat 3, a multi-effect “phattening” processor.
Camel Space features a tempo-synced stereo delay and auto-panner, an enhancer, a flanger and a reverb. According to the company, “CamelSpace can take any sound you throw at it–be it a pad, a synth line or a drum loop–and generate a dizzying array of dynamically-evolving, gated rhythmic textures.”
CamelPhat has been engineered to add warmth, punch and presence to guitar, bass and drums. Four characteristically different distortion effects are included, which can be used separately or blended together to create a variety of tones. Camel Phat includes a ‘Magic EQ,’ an analog-modeled compressor, three resonant filters, two LFOs and an envelope follower.
Both plugins feature an intelligent ‘Randomize’ function, which ensures that new sounds and inspiration are just a click away. 128 Presets, organized by category, are also provided for each.
The PhatSpace bundle is available for Windows and Mac OS X (VST and AudioUnits) and costs $149 (or $85 for each plug-in). Head over to www.camelaudio.com to download the free demo, listen to MP3s or buy online.
