New York (September 12, 2006)–Daniel Casado has been named director of the engineering support group for McCauley Sound, Inc. A 30-year veteran of the audio industry. Casado has previously worked in manufacturing, QC, R&D, systems integration, consulting, and as an engineer in live, studio, TV and radio environments.
Daniel Casado “My responsibilities are many and varied,” Casado said. “The engineering Support Group (ESG) provides services to our dealers & end users, and we work with the manufacturing and engineering teams at the factory. We also assist the sales and marketing departments with their efforts and events. I manage the creation, coordination and execution of the technical aspects of our sales presentations as well as our educational and promotional events. The ESG provides tech support for owners and end users of our equipment by responding to their questions, and creating documentation like tech notes & manuals. We also support events, on-site installations and educational efforts.
“I also head the effort to introduce our new contracting products. I help our regional managers build relationships with contractors and consultants and I direct our System Design Group (SDG). This group works with our partner contractors and consultants in developing EASE models and assists in the design process. McCauley Sound is set up to be a resource to the marketplace; we want to help.”
Casado is an active member of the Pacific Northwest Section of the Audio Engineering Society and currently serves on the PNW committee.
