Melville, NY (June 23, 2006)–Joseph B. Castronovo has been named Korg USA’s new president. He has been with Korg USA, the exclusive U.S. distributor of Korg, Marshall, ToneWorks and VOX, for more than 20 years, most recently serving as executive vice president and CFO. Castronovo is the successor to Korg USA’s former president, Michael Kovins, who passed away May 2, 2006.

CastronovoIn 1985, Castronovo began his career at Korg USA as manager of financial reporting and steadily earned senior-level responsibilities: he went on to become corporate controller, then vice president-finance, next senior vice president-finance and operations. In 1994, he was promoted to executive vice president and chief financial officer, and has worked to ensure the continued advancement of the company and its product lines.
