Cambridge, England (December 3, 2004)--Cedar Audio has unveiled its Cambridge v2, a leap forward for audio restoration and cleanup. The v2 adds numerous new modules and features to versions 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2. The earlier versions are now obsolete, because v2.0 (which is equally applicable to the film, mastering, post and forensic audio configurations) extends the system's capabilities in important ways.

Originally launched as just a real-time, world-to-world processor, Cedar Cambridge v2.0 now boasts disk-to-disk and disk-to-world file processing capabilities. These allow users to analyze and process selected parts of, or whole WAV and AIFF files, rendering the results back to hard disk (disk-to-disk) in a fraction of the time needed to process audio in real time.
