The new Centro Cultural Miguel Delibes in Valladolid has two 4-input/12-output Dolby Lake Processors and a 4x4 Lake Mesa EQ. New York (July 11, 2007)--Pro3&Co., the Spanish distributor for Dolby Laboratories’ professional live sound products, recently supplied the new Centro Cultural Miguel Delibes in Valladolid with two 4-input/12-output Dolby Lake Processors and a 4x4 Lake Mesa EQ.
The digital speaker processors, installed by Chemtrol División Teatro S.A., are being used to manage EAW line array systems powered by Lab.gruppen amplification in the main 1,700-seat Auditorium and the Experimental Theatre, as well as a smaller EAW system in the Conservatory.
“The Dolby Lake Processor transformed digital loudspeaker and equalization technology,” said Victor Perez, technical director, Pro3, which is located in Barcelona. “It offers user-friendly control of any loudspeaker system while simultaneously improving the sound quality.”
The multi-purpose cultural center, home to the Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León, seats approximately 3,000 in three performance halls and also encompasses professional dance and dramatic arts schools and a music conservatory. The summer program for the Centro Cultural Miguel Delibes features national and international musical artists, including the Academy of St. Martin-in-the-Fields, the National Orchestra of France, Ópera de Cámara de Madrid, Orquesta de Valencia, Chick Corea and Gary Burton, Bryan Ferry, and Madeleine Peyroux.
