Simi Valley, CA (February 26, 2004)--Cerwin-Vega has promoted former director of engineering Domenic Buonincontri to the position of general manager for both the Cerwin-Vega and KRK divisions of the company. Buonincontri, a veteran product designer and management team leader, will assume his new role immediately.

"Domenic's experience and professionalism have been the crucial component in bringing Cerwin-Vega's newest products to market," said Dave Froker, CEO of the Stanton Group, Cerwin-Vega's parent company. "He has shown tremendous skills in keeping the company focused on our goals, while presenting innovative solutions in design, sales, and support of Cerwin-Vega products. We're confident that he'll excel in the expanded scope of his leadership role."

Domenic Buonincontri joined Cerwin-Vega as director of engineering in spring, 2003. He is a veteran electrical and acoustic engineer who holds several patents in loudspeaker design. Before joining Cerwin-Vega, Buonincontri held engineering management positions at Harman International, where he helped create their successful Revel product line.

Cerwin-Vega also announced five key appointments in their engineering, sales and marketing departments. Former senior design engineer Bill Bush has been promoted to the director of engineering position. John Devins has been promoted to the position of director of sales for the company's professional audio division, and the company has hired Richard Kwasneski to handle the director of sales position for their mobile audio division. Promoted from the company's international sales department, Derek Covin will now assume the role of sales administration manager. Finally, Jesse Walsh has been promoted to be Cerwin-Vega's director of marketing.

Bush joined Cerwin-Vega in 2003 after leading the engineering team at NHT, where he was responsible for many of their highly acclaimed product designs. Devins, an 18-year veteran of the pro audio industry, has held sales management positions with Alesis and Steinberg as well as having run an independent rep firm in the Mid-Atlantic region. Kwasneski comes to the company after years of sales management experience with Diamond Audio, MTX and Orion. Covin brings over 15 years of knowledge in sales administration to his new role, having led the sales admin teams at Alesis and QSC. Walsh, who joined Cerwin-Vega in spring 2003 as their marketing services manager, previously ran his own advertising/marketing agency for the pro audio industry.

"All of our recent management appointments will help solidify Cerwin-Vega's ability to serve our customers," commented Buonincontri. "From expedited new product development to innovative sales and marketing programs, we're excited about the new goals we can achieve through this experienced management team."
