The services are a Lifetime Warranty for all CharterOak microphones and a microphone customization service called Adapt SM.
CharterOak Acoustic Devices moved to a Lifetime Warranty for all CharterOak microphones shipped as of October 7, 2005, upgrading new and existing customers from the current one-year warranty. CharterOak microphones are hand assembled at the Enfield, CT headquarters. Using an assortment of premium parts gathered from around the world, each microphone is tailored to the characteristic tonal qualities that set CharterOak microphones apart in the industry. Prior to customer delivery every microphone is ear tested in a studio environment for a period of 24 hours in addition to a 7-day burn-in.

Current owners of CharterOak microphones are encouraged to contact CharterOak Acoustic Devices with updated address information in order to obtain a lifetime warranty card. Owners can also arrange for a CharterOak microphone factory service which may include: cleaning, tube and or transformer replacement, head amp upgrade depending on serial number, and testing.
CharterOak Acoustic Devices also unveiled the Adapt SM service, a create your own classic microphone customization service available for all CharterOak vacuum tube condenser models. The Adapt service enables applicable CharterOak microphone owners to adjust the tonal qualities of the microphone within the first 30 days of purchase. During that time, customers can ship the microphone to CharterOak Acoustic Devices for desired modifications based on their studio environment and professional taste. While Adapt doesn’t change the capsule tunings that make the tonal qualities of each CharterOak model distinctive, it allows for the modification of two key elements which really affect the tone. Delivered from day one, positive response from customers and dealers alike helped position the service as a standard part of the CharterOak Acoustic Devices service model. The Adapt service is currently available at no additional cost through an introductory promotion.
