Enfield, CT (April 26, 2011)–CharterOak Acoustic Devices has unveiled its MPA-1, a solid-state, dual-channel microphone preamplifier.
The MPA-1 features transformerless input circuitry and transformer-balanced output. It is fitted with constantly variable high- and low-pass filters that encompass the entire bandwidth of the device, a -6 dB pad, +48 VDC phantom power, and phase reverse, for control and flexibility.
Technical specs include minimum gain of 20 dB; maximum gain of 76 dB; frequency response of 10 Hz-100 kHz (+/- 3 dB); maximum input level of +23 dBu; maximum output level of +32 dBu; output impedance of 600 ohms; and with power requirements of 100-120 VAC/200-240 VAC switchable.
