Chicago (February 15, 2008)--Christ Universal Temple recently installed a new sound system, working with Mike Shlifka who owns All American Music & Sound. The company is a long-time sound vendor to the church, so Shlifka was approached by church officials who asked if he could provide a major upgrade but within a very tight budget; part of the result included a selection of Face Audio amplifiers.

The main sanctuary now houses Face Audio power amplifiers and SLS loudspeakers, with 30 F1200TSs and a dozen F700TSs powering SLS LS-8800 line array cabinets and LSB-8115 subs. The 3,000-seat sanctuary also utilizes Face F500TS and F250TS amplifiers for the extensive under-balcony speaker system.

Shlifka said, "Tom Parnell from Next Generation Marketing had been talking to me about Face Audio amps for a while, and I was able to put a F1200TS in my monitor rig and use it at a show at the Hard Rock Café. I was impressed with the sound and the beating that it could take. The Face amps fit the budget and the demanding sound requirements, so we made a decision to power the SLS speakers with them. The church board of directors were blown away. The capacity and performance of Face Audio amplifiers is amazing considering the cost. No one could touch them."
