Manheim, PA (September 16, 2010)--Clair Brothers plans to design and manufacture a high-end line of loudspeaker systems, and has taken on David Cooper, formerly of Midas, for the new position of Business Development - Global.

The Manheim, PA-based AV systems design and integration provider--now a separate entity from Clair, the touring/production sound company—sees the moves as part of a long-term strategic plan to make its product portfolio available to a global customer base.

“We’ve built a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility that builds premium quality Clair Brothers loudspeaker systems,” says Barry Clair, president. “The appointment of David Cooper confirms our ambition to deliver these industry leading solutions to customers all around the world.

Cooper, who spearheaded Midas’ sales and marketing team for nearly two decades, intends to grow a network of focused and dedicated distribution channels to complement those that already exist. “The service and support that the Clair Brothers team provide their customers in the USA is second to none, and it is our aim to replicate this service for customers in other locations around the world,” he says.
