Las Vegas, NV (December 14, 2005)–Chicago Recording Company’s (CRC) Remote Record crew recently recorded The Charity Christmas Show, part of the Never Sleep Again Tour featuring Victory Records artists Hawthorne Heights, Silverstein, Bayside, and Aiden, at the House of Blues in Chicago. CRC’s Chris Shepard and Stuart Holverson were there to record the live show. Last month, Shepard and Holverson recorded The Smoking Popes Reunion Show at The Metro in Chicago.
The CRC crew also recorded and mixed the main stage live at this year’s Vegoose Festival, which took place on October 30-31, and included Dave Matthews Band, Trey Anastasio, moe., The String Cheese Incident, and many more. Shepard, Holverson, and Todd Fitch all traveled from Chicago to the location to record the event.
Recently in CRC’s recording studios, engineer Chris Steinmetz and assistant Grayson Taylor recorded acoustics for The Bayside Project album for Victory. Steinmetz and Taylor recorded in CRC’s Studio 5, which is equipped with an SSL 6064E console with G computer and Digidesign Pro Tools HD3 Accel system complimented by racks of outboard gear. And in Studio 4, Ghostface (from Wu Tang) recorded for an upcoming Def Jam release with engineer Jeff Lane and assistant Todd Fitch. Studio 4 houses a Neve VR console with Flying Faders as well as a Pro Tools HD3 rig.
