Fair Lawn, NJ (July 13, 2004)--Crest Performance, a division of Crest Audio, has added two floor monitors to its CPT Series loudspeakers--the CPT M and CPT 2M. These monitors are targeted for small- to medium-sized performance venues, including houses of worship, intimate music clubs, multi-purpose rooms and any permanent installation.

The midrange offered by the CPT M and CPT 2M monitors enables better intelligibility, allowing performers to hear every sonic nuance as intended from the audio source being amplified. This is particularly imperative for loudspeakers used in voice reproduction, as the midrange vocal region is the number one area that generates either compliments or complaints from performers and worship leaders.

Each Crest Performance CPT monitor includes one 2-position terminal strip and one 4-pin Neutrik I/O connector in parallel; a 90x40-degree constant directivity horn; a 1.5-inch Crest HF-1 titanium compression driver; and a 13mm dado-joined birch enclosure with a textured acrylic polyurethane exterior. CPT monitors are available in black, white or natural finishes.
