CSS Mixers Nominated for CAS Honors

Hollywood, CA (January 21, 2009)--Re-recording mixers at CSS Studios' Todd-AO facilities have received a total of four nominations for the 45th annual Cinema Audio Society (CAS) Awards.

Todd-AO re-recording mixers Mike Minkler, CAS and Bob Beemer, CAS are nominated in the category Television Movies and Mini-Series for their work on the "John Adams" episodes "Join or Die" and "Independence."

Todd-AO re-recording mixers Marc Fishman and Tony Lamberti are nominated for their work on the "John Adams" episode "Don't Tread on Me." The nominations for "John Adams" are shared with production mixer Jay Meagher, CAS.

Todd-AO re-recording mixers Ken Teaney, CAS and Geoffrey Rubay are nominated in the category Television Series for the "Mad Men" episode "The Jet Set."

"CSS Studios takes great pride in the quality of our creative talent," said CSS Studios president Robert C. Rosenthal. "And we are very pleased when their accomplishments are recognized-especially by the peers at CAS. It is a special honor."

The 45th annual CAS Awards will be presented February 14 at the Millennium-Biltmore in Los Angeles.
