Cincinnati, OH (February 27, 2009)--When the USITT Annual Conference & Stage Expo decends on the Duke Energy Convention Center n Cincinnati, Ohio next month, d&b audiotechnik will be there, showing off its E- and T-Series loudspeakers and making presentations.
Located at Booth 1045, a colorful array of its established E-Series loudspeakers will be on hand, along with the new T-Series, as the company will be presenting how its "simple tool free transformation gives two different technologies from a single loudspeaker," allowing it to be used as a point source or line source system.
John Taylor from d&b's Education department will be attending the exhibition to present seminars, collaborating with Ken Jacob, Director of Advanced Development, Bose Professional Systems Division to deliver a session, "A New Approach To The Presentation And Archival Of Theatre Sound Design" that takes place on Friday, March 20, from 4:45 to 6:05.
Taylor noted, "Historically, it has been very hard to archive what a theatre sound design has brought to a production after the show because that sound design is integral to the production." Taylor and Jacob will examine and demonstrate a combination of video and binaural sound recording techniques to recreate one audience member's experience of a show with as accurate spatial audio information as possible.
