Daly City, CA (January 24, 2005)--Digidesign has hired Steve McCale as a product specialist for the company's VENUE live sound product line. He will be responsible for helping touring engineers realize the power of VENUE and providing hands-on assistance to new customers. In addition, he is developing new products and training materials.

A 20-year touring veteran, McCale has mixed both front-of-house and monitors for acts such as U2, Chris Isaak, the Steve Miller Band, the London Symphony Orchestra, and others. His familiarity with all aspects of touring stems from his 15 years with Clair Brothers Audio.
