Copenhagen (March 23, 2004)–Danish manufacturer DK-Audio has boosted its sales team in the U.S. with the appointment of David Hubble as area sales and support manager. Hubble’s appointment with DK-Audio reinforces the company’s commitment to the U.S. market where sales of its audio and video metering and test and measurement products are burgeoning.
Hubble, who will be based in Oklahoma, began his broadcast career in television production, working on news programming. He then moved into technical sales and spent some time working for a Missouri-based dealer selling broadcast equipment. In the late 1990s he joined manufacturer Videotek as regional sales manager before setting up as an independent contractor, supplying and installing non-linear and broadcast equipment to facilities all over the U.S.
John D. Terrey, DK-Audio’s U.S. vice president, said, “David brings a wealth of experience and contacts to the job and we feel sure that he will prove to be a valuable asset to our team. Not only does he have sales experience but he also has hands-on experience as an end user, which makes him ideally placed to offer after sales support to our customers.”
Hubble added, “I am delighted to be part of the DK-Audio team. The company already has a strong reputation as an innovative, high tech manufacturer and I am looking forward to introducing many new customers to its expanding product range.”
