Indianapolis (July 14, 2004)–Largo, Florida-based Valpak Direct Marketing Systems teamed for the first time with Dodd Technologies, Inc. (DTI) to produce its national sales meeting and awards event, May 20-22, 2004. Attendees included owners of Valpak franchises, their staffs and home office employees. Known as “Coupon U,” the event was staged at the new Hilton Hotel/Austin, Texas. Attendance exceeded 1,000.
DTI provided staging, set design (a custom-designed and built Austin, Texas cityscape), audio, large/multi-screen screen projection, graphics support, lighting, special effects, photography, candids production, and production management for the event which included general sessions, keynote speaker, training session, an awards show, and awards dinners. DTI also produced the major entertainment, the Dysfunkshun Junkshun band.
“This was our first experience working with Valpak,” said Mark Dodd, president and owner of DTI. “We truly appreciate this first time opportunity. And we plan to continue to earn their business for years to come.”
