Dolby Labs Appoints Two

San Francisco, CA (January 12, 2005)--Dolby Laboratories has made two changes to its executive team. Steve Forshay has been promoted to senior vice president, research. He previously held the title of vice president of research and development. Also promoted was Craig Todd to vice president of technology strategy.

San Francisco, CA (January 12, 2005)--Dolby Laboratories has made two changes to its executive team. Steve Forshay has been promoted to senior vice president, research. He previously held the title of vice president of research and development. Also promoted was Craig Todd to vice president of technology strategy.

Since joining Dolby in 1982, Forshay has helped facilitate research and development of the audio and surround sound technologies conceived and developed by Dolby's inventors and technologists.

After joining the company in 1977, Todd worked on the development of Dolby Surround. He was instrumental in establishing Dolby Digital in DTV, CATV and DVD formats, and has most recently made major technical contributions to the technology strategy and systems architecture of Dolby's Digital Cinema system.
