New York (February 28, 2007)–In the U.K., Adlib Audio, based in Liverpool, has taken delivery of multiple Dolby Lake Processors. Adlib director Dave Kay and systems engineer Tony Szabo spent a day and a half fine-tuning settings in the processors for Adlib’s JBL VerTec speaker system before sending them out on separate tours by Scissor Sisters, Nine Inch Nails and Brand New.
Adlib director Dave Kay with two of the units under wireless tablet control.Also in the U.K., Britannia Row Productions is currently using some of its 13 Dolby Lake Processors on European tours by Kings of Leon and by Brit Award-winner Amy Winehouse, who is using them with the company’s new Outline Butterfly speaker system. Britannia Row recently developed settings for the Dolby Lake Processor, including both classic Linkwitz filtering and FIR versions, at Outline’s headquarters in Italy.
In other U.K. news, Wigwam Acoustics, in Heywood, used a pair of Dolby Lake Processors on the sell-out George Michael “25 Live” tour as system EQ and zoning control for the L-Acoustics V-Dosc system. Production House in Belfast currently has its Dolby Lake Processors out on tour with Van Morrison.
