New York (May 18, 2006)–DPA Microphones has announced a major staff restructure following a year-on-year growth of 20 percent to May 2006. According to a statement, the move is “designed to focus staff in areas where their skills and expertise will most benefit the company.”

The other changes affect three of the company’s co-owners. Ole Brosted Sorensen has become Director of Innovation, steering the company’s technological developments, while Jens-Jorn Stokholm has become Director of Development, plotting the company’s overall direction. Last, Morten Stove has become Sales and Marketing Director after the departure of Craig Parrish. “I started off in this industry in sales and marketing, and it’s a great time to reconnect with our client base as we bring more new, innovative products to market,” said Stove.
DPA employs a total of 90 employees between its Copenhagen headquarters, specialist Danish manufacturing unit and US subsidiary. Despite increasing turnover, according to the statement, it is committed to keeping its workforce and all manufacturing in Denmark.
