New York, NY (October 11, 2005)–Sound on Sound’s Studio C was very busy this month with numerous tracking jobs and Studio B was host to special project that Dr. John was doing entitled “Sippiana Hericane” for the New Orleans Muscians Clinic, Jazz Foundation of America, and Voice of the Wetlands.
In Studio A, 50 Cent (Interscope/ Aftermath) was mixing his movie soundtrack with producer Sha Money XL and engineer Pat Viala; B.I.G. (Bad Boy Entertainment) was editing with Jim Jones and Alex Venguer; Labba (Jive) was mixing with Grown Men and Brian Stanley; Chico Hamilton (Koch Entertainment) was tracking with engineer Chris Fasulo; The Christ Tabernacle Church Choir was tracking with Arnold Mischkulnig; Saturday Night Live was tracking with Stacy Foster and Josiah Gluck; and Ice T was recording vocals for Vivendi Universal Games’ Scarface Video Game with Eric Weiss and Oscar Zambrano.
In Studio B, Marcos Hernandez (TVT Records) was mixing with engineer Doug Wilson; Dr John (Impact Artist Management) was mixing a number of projects including “Sippiana Hericane” with engineer Ray Bardani; and LL Cool J (Def Jam Records) was recording vocals with Keezo Kane and Guru.
In Studio C, B.I.G. (Bad Boy Entertainment) was recording vocals with producer Sean C and engineer Dave Hyman: Rosie Perez was recording vocals for a MoveOn.Org PSA with producer/engineer John Eaton; and Lloyd Banks (Interscope/ Aftermath) was recording vocals and mixing with Allstar and Dave Hyman.
In Studio D, Mashonda (J Records) was recording vocals with producer Swizz Beatz and engineer Bojan Dugic; Boo (J Records) was recording vocals and mixing with Dugic and Hyman; Jaco Pastorius Big Band (WEA) was tracking with Peter Graves and Arnold Mischkulnig; and Tony Verderosa and Drew Manzano of Thwak!Music were editing and mixing a Dr. Pepper Commercial Spot.
