Ueberschall’s ElasticNew from Ueberschall, and available through EastWest , are 60s a GoGo (MSRP: $119), HipHop Underground (MSRP: $119), and The Resource (MSRP: $299). 60s a GoGo has over 1.5 GB sample material of retro music arrangements, samples and loops inspired by beat-, surf-, twist-, pulp-, rock-, lounge-, easy listening, Ueberschall’s 60s A GoGo libraryFrench and Italian film music from the sixties, played on real vintage instruments and amps. All samples are available in a mixed 60s style version and in a dry, unmixed version.
The HipHop Underground library is packed with drums and percussions, basses, chords, vocals, FX and single drums sounds for an overall sampling of “Tight groovez, Dope beatz & Mad Flava.” The set includes over 140 construction kits and more than 2.3 GB of content and is based on the brand new “Elastik Engine.”
The Resource includes 10GB of beats, chords, licks, and percussion–it’s the complete content of Ueberschall’s BPM120, VLP120, VCP120 and PLP120, all in one plug-in. With PLP 120 percussive live performances, you get a collection of a thousand rhythmical grooves. Instruments included are: Tabla, Darbuka, Def, Zagat, Bata Drum Set (Ijeilu, Emelabo, Emelakos) Djembe, Kalabass, Bulu, Conga, Tumba, Bongo, Repique, Timbaleta, Tambourin, Campana, Claves, Guiro, Surdo, Tambor, Triangle, Agogo, Cuica, Tarabuka, Mrindangam, Bell.
Ueberschall collection: The ResourceThe BPM 120 beat & percussion module has 2.4 GB of drum and percussion material. BPM 120 provides a large stylistic bandwidth of drum and percussion styles from Funk, House, Soul, Disco, Pop and Rock, to Drum&Bass, 2Step, and BigBeat through Electro, Metal, Real Drums, Breakbeat, and Vinyl Loops up to Latin-, African-and World Percussion.
And, the VCP 120 includes more than 1800 vintage chord progressions, recorded live on real vintage instruments–no quantization, no soft-synths. Each chord progression is presented in several rhythmic variations. Stylistically, the bandwidth stretches from Pop, House, Disco, Soul, Funk, Rock up to Latin, Jazz and “Intro”-typical playing. The VLP 120 library contains grooving “Vintage Licks & Phrases” for all styles in the Club, Pop & Dance scene. According to EastWest, the Licks on the VLP 120 were played on more than 20 different live instruments by professional studio musicians, including basses (fingered bass, fretless bass, slap bass); acoustic/electric guitars; keys (Fender Rhodes, acoustic piano, Wurlitzer e-piano, clavinet d6, organ B3, vintage synthesizer); brass/wind (trumpet, muted trumpet, flugelhorn, bariton-, tenor-, alto-, soprano-saxophone, flute).
