EV’s RE97-2Tx headworn mic.Burnsville, MN (July 9, 2008)–Electro-Voice has debuted its RE97-2Tx headworn microphone. It is an ultra-low-profile, omni-directional, back-electret condenser headworn microphone targeted for applications such as houses of worship, corporate AV, theater and other venues.
The omni-directional polar pattern reportedly provides solid sonic quality and uniform output regardless of the microphone’s position relative to the sound source.
The RE97-2Tx is a two-ear hook design with a band behind the head that is fully adjustable; the hooks fold flat for storage and flip all the way over so the microphone boom can be on the left of right side of the mouth. A clothing clip to retain the cord and a removable windscreen complete the package.
