Santa Monica, CA (March 16, 2005)–Endless Noise has delivered original music for several new Audi television spots, which recently broke. The announcement was made by Endless Noise founder/creative director Jeff Elmassian.
For client McKinney-Silver/Durham, NC, Endless Noise created and produced original music for three new 30-second TV spots, one for the Audi A-6 and two for the Audi Winter Quattro. For the A6 spot, “Greater Than A6,” Endless Noise used simple, repetitive pulsating rhythms, layers of synth patches, in an elegant yet understated manner. The track has a pensive quality, building and supporting the VO as the spot continues. It resolves with a solid bass line and quick drum & bass rhythms. The track exudes an air of mystery, sophistication, and intrigue.
For the Winter Quattro spots, “History Strip/Snow” and “History Strip/Non-Snow,” they began with a sentimental guitar intro. Next comes a singing bass line, punctuated with syncopated, echoing synth lines, exploding into a driving, epic theme. The composition ends with a cadenza of orchestral cymbals and tremolo guitar. The depth of this track supports the rich heritage and integrity of the Audi vehicle.
Regarding the new Endless Noise music, Jonathan Cude, senior VP/group creative director for McKinney-Silver, said, “Endless Noise did a wonderful of balancing modern instrumentation with the sophisticated tonality of the spots. The music in the spots for the new A6, which is considered the best mid-size luxury sedan in the world, work really well in highlighting the innovation and technology of the car. It’s a premium luxury product but it was important for the music to accent that luxury with style and sophistication, not old world stodginess. And Endless Noise nailed it.”
