A Sizable EV system featuring new XLC127DVX and XLD compact line arrays was used for this year's Last Summer Fantasy festival in Japan. Japan (November 7, 2007)--The Last Summer Fantasy music festival attracted over 10,000 fans to the Aspecta outdoor theatre in Aso Kumamoto, Japan. Two SR companies-Kumamoto prefecture-based Sound Kyushu Ltd. and Osaka prefecture-based Z Sound Ltd.-collaborated for the event, deploying an Electro-Voice PA featuring new XLC127DVX and XLD compact line arrays, Phoenix PX2152 loudspeakers and Tour Grade TG-5 power amplifiers.

Since both companies handle SR for a continuous stream of large scale events, it was important the new XLC127DVX system proved itself at Last Summer Fantasy. "We are very happy with the XLC system we purchased," reported Mr. Kitamura of Sound Kyushu Ltd. "Its performance as the main system at this festival was a great success. We needed to cover a venue over 100 meters deep, and no other system this size could come close to this level of performanc. The music sounded perfect from the near front to the far end. Plus, the system's compact size and light weight help reduce set-up time dramatically."
