Little Ferry, NJ (October 21, 2004)–Eventide has announced it’s reached an agreement with Digidesign to handle worldwide distribution of Eventide plug-ins outside of the U.S. and Canada.
The agreement, effective immediately, covers the full product line of plug-ins based on algorithms of the famous Eventide hardware products, including Eventide Reverb, Octavox, the Clockworks Legacy bundle, and H3000 Band Delays.
“The advantage of this agreement is to make the product available to more customers,” said Ray Maxwell, Eventide vice president of sales and marketing. “Now all Pro Tools dealers around the planet will have Eventide plug-ins to offer their customers. Digidesign has a well-developed dealer channel and a well seasoned sales force. Getting the products in every location where Pro Tools is sold will make it easier for customers to hear it and buy it.”
Digidesign now offers the full line of Eventide plug-ins through its network of international Pro Tools dealers throughout the world. Eventide will continue to offer its plug-ins throughout the U.S. and Canada where it maintains its dealer network of hardware and software retailers. Eventide plug-ins provide the desktop community with the same flexibility and tone-shaping capability that high-end studios have enjoyed for generations, using Eventide’s legendary hardware processors.
“It’s a real privilege for Digidesign to be able to offer the Eventide TDM plug-ins internationally through our distribution program,” remarked Digidesign’s director of partnering programs, Ed Gray. “They represent some of the very best of creative TDM real-time effects, and they deserve the international visibility that the Digidesign team can provide. The new H3000 Band Delays plug-in is particularly exciting for us. It is completely faithful to the H3000 and sounds sensational.”
