Amsterdam, The Netherlands (May 27, 2004)–FabFilter has released version 2.01 of FabFilter One, which fixes some minor problems with the previous version. Originally released three months ago, FabFilter One is a monophonic lead synthesizer with high sound and filter quality.
New in version 2.01:
* Fixed a bug that could cause the presets folder not to load fully. In this case, most of the submenus under the Presets button would remain empty.
* Fixed a very rare crash in the filter that could occur with extreme peak values.
* The synthesizer now correctly responds to the All Notes Off MIDI message.
* Changed label of synthesizer output bus to ‘Mono Out’.
FabFilter One 2.01 is now available for $79 as a VST plug-in and stand-alone version for Windows at www.fabfilter.com.
FabFilter is currently working on version 3 of FabFilter One, which will feature velocity sensitivity and a 16-voice polyphony mode in addition to the current monophonic behavior. This version will be available both as a Windows VST plug-in and as an Audio Units plug-in for Mac OS X. The release is scheduled for August this year.
