Recanati, Italy (December 9, 2003)–For 2004, FBT Pro Audio is introducing 15 new models to its redesigned Jolly Series Powered & Passive loudspeaker line, including 6 new powered 2 way versions, 7 new 2 way passive versions, and 2 new powered subwoofers. All FBT products are manufactured in Italy.
All 2 way models feature gas-injected molded lightweight, yet rugged Polypropylene Cabinets for easy transportability, FBT’s patented ADAP (Advanced Dynamic Active Protection) circuitry to protect electronics and speakers from damage and thermal shutdowns, and multiple flying points. Optional accessories include mic stand and speaker stand mounting adapters, wall /ceiling mounts, and nylon carrying bags for protection from damage when transporting.
The new three powered 2 way Jolly BA models feature Bi-amplified Class G and Class AB amplification, control panels with volume control, 2 band EQ, ground lift switch, ADAP LED indictor, mic/line switch, balanced Neutrik combo Jack input, and XLR link out to connect additional powered speakers. The Jolly 5ba features 100 w RMS power output, the Jolly 8ba @ 200 w RMS, and Jolly 12ba @ 300 w RMS.
The Jolly RA powered models are designed for those who do not require the full-fledged features found on the Jolly BA models, such as for permanent installations. The new three powered 2 way Jolly RA models feature Bi-amplified Class G and Class AB amplification, control panels with volume control, ground lift switch, balanced Neutrik combo Jack input, and XLR link out to connect additional powered speakers. The Jolly 5 ra features 60 w RMS power output, the Jolly 8ra @ 100 w RMS, and Jolly 12ra @ 200 w RMS.
Powered Jolly 10a-250 w RMS and 12a-300 w RMS subwoofers feature 13 ply Birch plywood enclosures with vented bandpass design, built in left and right channel crossovers with balanced Neutrik combo jack inputs, and filtered outputs for connection to satellite speakers. The subwoofers also feature dual link outputs, volume control, ground lift switch and a 0º 180º Phase reversal switch.
