Palo Alto, CA (November 23, 2005)–Euphonix recently signed Feel Communications as one of its authorized Italian distributors for the company’s System 5-MC and MC control systems. Feel Communications has enjoyed a close relationship with Euphonix for quite some time being the authorized distributor of Euphonix consoles, and the official signing of the firm as dealers for the new product line for Italy solidifies the two company’s relationship even further.
Feel Communications has already found success with the sale of a 16-fader Euphonix System 5-MC Integrated DAW Controller to RTL 102.5 Hit Radio, an independently owned national radio network with an average daily audience of over 4 million. The System 5-MC will be used with Apple Computer’s Logic Pro Audio and will be installed in the station’s post-production facilities in Milan.
Marino Vanuzzo, Feel Communications’ president commented on RTL’s selection of the new system, “RTL 102.5 Hit Radio has a commanding presence in the Italian radio market, and via FM and streaming audio over the Internet, the station is expanding its reach well beyond the country’s borders. I am excited about the capabilities this new System 5-MC will bring to RTL’s post production capabilities and am genuinely honored to represent Euphonix throughout this transaction.”
In addition to the RTL deal, Feel Communications recently purchased a 40-fader System 5-MC to support its sales activities. The company is slated to conduct a number of demonstration/training sessions at shows throughout Rome and Milan during the latter part of November.
Russell Waite, Euphonix executive VP of world wide sales, reflected on Feel Communications’ recent success, “We are delighted to have Feel Communications representing Euphonix throughout Italy for our complete product line including the new System 5-MC and MC products. As evidenced by their early success with RTL, the company clearly understands the audio post and broadcast markets, and we look forward to a mutually beneficial business relationship that continues to blossom.”
A founding member of Italy’s EuroDAB consortium to develop Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) in the country, RTL’s System 5-MC purchase represents a commitment to digital content delivery, enabling the station to remain at the forefront of modern radio. RTL’s new System 5-MC will be housed in an all-new studio that is in its final stages of construction.
According to Nicola Pisilli, RTL chief engineer, “RTL’s selection of Euphonix’ System 5-MC is the culmination of an exhaustive effort where we examined a number of leading products for our station’s post production requirements. We settled on the System 5-MC, as we are more convinced than ever that it provides the right combination of excellent sound quality, a comprehensive feature set, and intuitive operation. We are excited about this new addition to our studio’s facilities.”
