Munich, Germany (September 23, 2005)–The first symposium of the VDT (German Tonmeister Association) will be held from October 31 until November 2, 2005 at ‘Schloss Hohenkammer’, a historical castle venue close to Munich Airport in Germany. The symposium will give an overview with regard to current multichannel sound developments, aesthetical aspects and appropriate applications of today’s practical tools, storage media and distribution technologies.
50 international authors will contribute to the program embracing not only lectures but predominantly practical workshops with surround sound presentations. Target audience is audio professionals, Tonmeisters, sound technicians, producers, performing artists and manufacturers. All presentations will be in English.
The program covers five subject areas:
-Production and Mastering
A large extent of supporting product oriented presentations will cover the spectrum of applications in radio, TV, film and DVD. Apart from lectures and workshops twenty companies will present there solutions in exhibition areas and demonstration rooms.
The residential symposium is an attractive place to meet in an environment conducive to exchanging of know-how and views with around 150 international participants.
