Agoura Hills, CA (June 29, 2010)--Focusrite Novation has named Ralph Goldheim as director of U.S. sales. He was most recently national sales manager of Focusrite and Novation brands under American Music and Sound (AM&S), Focusrite Novation’s U.S. distributor.
In his new position, Goldheim will be responsible for all U.S. dealer sales channel activities. He has held positions at companies including Alesis, Roland, Line 6 and M-Audio. Phil Wagner, president of the U.S. subsidiary, comments, “As Focusrite Novation positions itself for expansion, we know that Ralph is the best person to lead our sales efforts. Ralph’s experiences and accomplishments are unique, and our dealers respect his style. I am pleased he has joined our growing team.”
Goldheim will be working directly with the MI and pro audio retail channels along with AM&S’ newly formed Music Creation Division. The Music Creation Division was specifically formed to manage AM&S’ brands involved with music creation. The division recently added an entirely new direct-sales representative force, which Goldheim and the Focusrite Novation team will be supporting.
He says, “Focusrite and Novation have always represented benchmarks in the industry for the highest-quality audio standards and creative instrument design. I’m extremely excited to be working with Phil Wagner and the whole team in my new role with Focusrite Novation. The music technology category shows significant growth, and we look forward to expanding Focusrite and Novation’s market presence.”
