New York, NY (November 16, 2004)–Nutmeg Audio Post has announced the addition of Frank Verderosa to the post of senior mixer/sound designer. Formerly president/founder of the audio post facility Planet V, Verderosa brings a deep track record of extremely sharp ears, expert mixing abilities, and client service skills to his position at Nutmeg.
Tony Spaneo, president/owner of Nutmeg, and Jon Adelman, VP/director of operations at Nutmeg, selected Verderosa for his audio talents and engaging personality, as well as the business expertise that comes with being a former facility owner. “It takes several key traits to be truly successful in this business,” said Adelman. “You have to have a great ear, the ability to master all the technology available and, at the same time, contribute to the creative process while making the client feel comfortable and confident. As someone who possesses all these attributes, Frank Verderosa is a rare find.”
Verderosa opened up his own shop, Planet V, in 1996. In September of 2004, he closed Planet V to join the staff at Nutmeg Audio Post. “My goal in this business has always been to deliver hi-end audio with a strong emphasis on client services,” he said. “After meeting with Jon and Tony at Nutmeg, it was obvious that we shared the same values. Coming on board was an easy decision- and one that will truly benefit my clients.”
In his short time at Nutmeg, Verderosa has already completed projects for Buick, USMC, Burger King, Hershey’s, Weichert Realtors, Fortune Magazine and Ikea. “We’re extremely excited to have Frank Verderosa join our team,” Jon Adelman added. “However, his days as a ‘secret weapon’ are over–we want the world to know that Frank Verderosa is now at Nutmeg.”
