San Francisco, CA (September 11, 2006)–Middleton, WI-based Full Compass, one of the nation’s largest suppliers of pro audio, AV and lighting gear, will offer a free seminar at this year’s AES dedicated to exploring new techniques and technologies directed at improving audio designs used in houses of worship.
Entitled “Higher Standards: Sound Quality for Houses of Worship”, the one-hour seminar will take place on Saturday, October 7th from 2:30-3:30 P.M. Seats are limited; those interested in attending should visit the registration desk as early as possible for directions to the seminar room’s location.
Presented in conjunction with Shure and Aviom, Shure’s Dave Mendez and Aviom’s Craig Sibley will be the main speakers at the event. “The seminar is designed for any house of worship seeking to take its sound quality to the next level,” explains Full Compass’ Kristin LeDuc, who is helping promote the Saturday afternoon workshop. “There’s something here for every facility, large or small. Among other things, we’ll be offering insight into the latest wireless technologies, as well as personal monitoring. This is a must for anyone involved in church audio that feels a need to make a sonic upgrade.”
