Petaluma, CA (November 21, 2006)–Furman Sound has appointed Greg Larson to the position of Latin American/Caribbean account manager. In this role, Larson will be responsible for bringing Furman’s advanced technology to discerning consumers in the Latin American region who require high-end power conditioners for home theaters and other advanced applications.
“Greg’s wealth of experience in the power-management industry will be a tremendous asset to us as we continue to expand our presence in the South American market,” said Dave Keller, vice president of sales and marketing for Furman. “His understanding of the market and proven record of success will play a vital role in bringing our advanced power-management solutions to our customers in that region.”
Prior to joining Furman, Larson held the role of international account manager for Panamax, where he was in charge of sales in the Latin American region. Larson began his career with Panamax in 1988 as the first international Panamax distributor in Guatemala. Since that time, he has continued to expand his roles within the Panamax/Furman family. Larson will be based in Guatemala where he can strategically support the Latin American market. Larson will be reporting to Dave Keller, senior vice president of sales and marketing for both Furman and Panamax.
