Petaluma, CA (April 12, 2007)--Furman Sound has unveiled a new look and enhanced features for its Elite Series power conditioners. The bold new designs feature contours of black steel with clear-blue LED lights, while new 12-V triggering adds remote-control capabilities for convenient operation.

The new Elite Series units will be designated with a letter "i" at the end of each model number to differentiate them from the original Elite series. In addition to the technologies of the originals--such as Linear Filtering Technology (LiFT) and virtually non-sacrificial surge suppression--the Elite Series will now add 12-volt triggering for remote control.

"The more refined, elegant design of our Elite i-Series power management products will complement the sleek components of today's home-theater systems," said Dave Keller, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Furman and Panamax. "And the newly designed units provide our customers with the unparalleled levels of protection and noise reduction that they rely on, with the additional convenience of remote-control operation."
