Gina Giachetti, Meyer Sound.Berkeley, CA (March 4, 2008)--Gina Giachetti has joined Meyer Sound as manager of public relations. She is taking over media-relations responsibilities from Susanna Corcoran, who will continue to work with Meyer Sound as a communications consultant on special projects.

Based at the company's Berkeley headquarters, Giachetti is responsible for creating greater visibility for Meyer Sound in the professional audio, mainstream and new media channels. Meyer Sound continues to grow, with its systems deployed in events and installations around the world, providing what Giachetti believes are important opportunities to educate new audiences about Meyer Sound and "the impact that its innovative technology is having on the industries and the people it touches."

Giachetti brings more than 10 years of agency public relations experience to the job, working with clients such as Cisco, IBM, HP and Yahoo! Prior to joining Meyer Sound, Giachetti served as an account director for Text 100 Public Relations, where she oversaw public relations strategies for several technology brands. Most recently, she worked with Cisco to promote the use of its technology at the Churchill Downs racetrack and the Cleveland Zoo, as well as the growing use of video at work and home.

"We are very pleased to have Gina on board," says Rachel Archibald, Meyer Sound's director of marketing. "Her extensive experience working with respected technology companies, combined with her contacts and PR expertise, make her an excellent choice for Meyer Sound. We're thrilled to have her on our team!"

"As a former theater major and singer, I'm really excited to be working with a company that's so involved in music and the arts," Giachetti notes. "I also respect Meyer Sound's strong reputation of integrity and commitment to excellence as demonstrated by its technology and products."
