New York, NY (February 15, 2005)–Sound on Sound’s Studios were busy with a wide variety of projects last month. Working in Studio A were Atlantic artist Governor, who was recording vocals with Just Blaze and Kris Lewis, and Nelly, mixing The Longest Yard soundtrack with Kevin Law and Rich Travali. Also in Studio A, TRA Productions recorded a television spot for All My Children with producer Tom Spahn and engineer Rene Antelmann, and Saturday Night Live was pre-recording with Stacy Foster and Josiah Gluck.
In the SSL 9072 J-equipped Studio B, Universal artist Kaeson was mixing with producer Knobody and engineer Kevin Crouse, Nivea was mixing with Larry Campbell and Brian Stanley, and Syleena Johnson was mixing with The Unit and Stanley. J Records artist Mashonda also did some tracking with Swizz Beatz and Brian Lodato in Studio B.
Studio C hosted tracking sessions for Phat Tape Album, with producer Hangmen 3 and engineer Brian Lodato. And in the Pro Tools HD4-based Studio D, Jeannie Ortega was tracking with producer SPK and Kyze and engineer Brian Lodato. Benzino recorded in Studio D with Hangmen 3 and engineers Isaiah Abolin and Lodato, and Eagle Peak Music’s Rich Samalin was tracking a television commercial for Victoria’s Secret. Finally, Universal artist Thaddeus was in D tracking with KK and Kris Lewis.
